Well, this is one I would definately hang on my walls!

I love water and the play of light, the way it bounces and refracts - the movement.

I like this one alot.

The detail on the bird, the shading and the background - fabulous!

You paint with such clarity.

I love this! The lines focusing on the indistinct pair who are the only ones prepared for the diagonal downpour. The bright red exclaimation point muted to pastel by the rain.

Thank you. It's a scan of a handful of shredded documents, photoshoped negative, softened, and hue switched. I must admit I put some of the more interesting words in the front to make it mysterious.

Thank you both <blush>

It was a bright sunny day and I wanted to get all the depth of field I could to make sure the rocks on the bottom were clear. I just shut the iris way down, shot at about 5 mm and hoped for the best. This was the third try (digital Nikon so I could check every time).

See Benjamin in the composter.

*sigh*

I can relate to this, oh yes. speaking as the mummy of 1 siamese cat with a fetish for plastic bags, and a stripey kitten whose great ambition is to drown in the toilet...the methods of potential suicide are endless for felines it seems.

LOL!

It's lovely, i really like the wavy outline, very positive feminine image stuff..YAY, REAL women have bellies and thighs and curves!

I read somewhere that artists used to charge extra if hands were included 'cos they are notoriously difficult to draw.

Well done, JEllen! Yup, it's paraphrased from that song. I was watching and weeping at the bombing of the stations in Madrid, i had the little boxes of paint in front of me and just kept banging them down in sheer frustration and horror...only later did i decide to actually try and make something of it...the box shapes reminded me of 9/11 scenes.
